Yes, that's right. Many of my clients don't do any sport at all. I myself do a number of planks per day, try to jump on my rowing machine from time to time in an effort to keep that heart beating an extra decade or two, and occasionally do some stretches, but that's it.

Have I treated world-class athletes? Yes. People who are mad enough to swim the English channel? Yes. Ballerinas, actors, posties, delivery drivers, furniture movers, nurses, electricians, restaurant managers, and pregnant women? Yes.

Sports and remedial massage (also called soft tissue therapy) is an excellent technique to relieve muscle tension to help restore musculoskeletal functionality. This often helps to substantially reduce pain and help you maintain or regain full use of the muscles and the related joints.
